If you have diabetes, being active makes your body more sensitive to insulin (the hormone that allows cells in your body to use blood sugar for energy), which helps manage your diabetes. Physical activity also helps control blood sugar levels and lowers your risk of heart disease and nerve damage.


For this reason QDA established its own Gym within the facility which is available only for people living with diabetes, there two Gyms one for males and another for females that operate from Sunday to Thursday as follows:

Men’s Gym Working hours
Sunday : 7:30 am – 2:30pm
Monday:
Morning:7:30am-12:00pm
Evening: 5:00pm-8:00pm

Tuesday: 7:30 am – 2:30pm
Wednesday:
Morning:7:30am-12:00pm
Evening: 5:00pm-8:00pm

Thursday: 7:30 am – 2:30pm

Women’s Gym Working hours:
Sunday – Thursday: 7:30am – 3:00pm

To join the Gym there are 3 steps:
Step 1 : visit QDA facility and walk in to the clinic to create an account at QDA (creating an account is free of charge). To reach us click here.

Step 2: after creating an account walk to the dieticians’ department to get dietary advice and then the dietician will fill up the subscription form for you (this step is also free of charge).
Step 3: proceed to our device sales outlet to pay the subscription fees (100 Riyals per month).
